Devon Monster Race 5k 2018-03-17
We will be bringing our obstacle course and mud run event to Devon for the first time in 2018. Located at Escot Park close to Exeter this will be the best obstacle course race and mud run event in the South West!
Escot is a Devon event venue with a history of hosting a wide range of events. With over 1,000 acres of grounds available including 250 acres of parkland, it has all the space, terrain, mud and water we need to put on a great mud run for you!
Runners start in waves every 30 minutes. The first wave is normally at 10am. Note the earlier waves fill up fast and once full are closed to further entries. So if you want to run early sign up asap!
This is so we don’t end up with bottlenecks at the obstacles. There’s nothing worse than starting an event and then at the first obstacle having to wait in line to tackle it. Having waves of people start the course every 30 minutes will avoid this. The event uses chip timing so your time will only commence once you’ve crossed the start line.
We will do our best to allocate participants to the waive time they indicated they would prefer at the time of registration. This may not always be possible and we may need to move participants to another wave to ensure overcrowding on the course/at obstacles does not take place.
For the 10k Monster there will be at least one water station. For the 5k course there will not be a station (water will be available at the end).
- A tough challenge you will never forget
- Free mud
- A quality Monster medal….the best on the scene? We think so.
- Chip timing – with instant results
- Free event photo’s – subject to our photographers zapping you as you go round
- Free spectator entry – the more the merrier…..bring your granny along
- A cool drink at the end
Car parking will be available at the venue. There will be a charge of £5 per car. We do encourage you to car share where possible.
